Whomps

Who/What: Whomps are usually enemies, if not all, in the Mario games that try to smash you.
Where: You will find then in Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario 64, probably in more games.
Other:
The Whomps fight you by slamming themselves on you, probably 90 degrees. You defeat them by dodging its attack, going on it, and
ground pounding on its back, usually if not all, in a
certain spot. The spot you have to hit will look different in different games. The one in Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a ground pounding sign. The one in Super Mario 64 is two band-aids, tape pieces, etc. that makes an x.
